Maria's Photograph.

For those of you who are interested for the last few days I've been work on a new book called Maria's photograph. The story beginning in 1946 focuses on on a young primary school teacher Cathleen Johnston. After the war made her a widow at the age of just 26 Cathleen moves from her former home in Essex to start a new life in remote Norfolk. After frosty welcome from the locals Cathleen struggles to settle into her new life and job in such a remote location. There is something going on at the school. The head teacher is dying , while a trouble young boy is talking to and playing with an imaginary friend. Missing her dead husband and family and with no real friends finds herself regularly confessing her troubles to photograph of a young girl left in her house by the previous owner. Things take a turn for the ghostly when one day the girl in the photograph suddenly begins to communicate with chilling messages.
